Where to stay for Groupama Stadium and LDLC Arena
Olympique Lyonnais' stadium and the LDLC Arena sit side by side in Décines-Charpieu, east of Lyon. On event nights, hotels nearby fill up fast.
In short: For a match or concert, either stay near the venues in Décines, or in Part-Dieu, which is linked to the stadium by tram T3 and has many more hotels and restaurants.
Updated on October 31, 2026
Groupama Stadium hosts Olympique Lyonnais' home games and big concerts; the LDLC Arena next door hosts concerts, shows and indoor sports.
Hotels around the venues are few and book up quickly on event dates. Part-Dieu offers far more choice and a direct tram connection, with extra services on event days.
After an event, trams are very busy: allow time, or choose a hotel within walking distance if you want to avoid the crowds.
